This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I'm a writer working on my first novel. Sometimes I'm a technical writer too - usually when I'm getting low on supplies. In my spare time, I like to draw snarky little stick people saying snarky things or generally messing around. I have a soft spot for drawing anthropomorphic pizza slices and oranges. What started out as a stick person journal (badly drawn, on lined paper in the world's tiniest notebook) became a trip to the local art store for slightly less terrible paper and better pencils and then a rather large purchase of fancy pencil crayons and proper ink pens.
I'm not sure if good art supplies make a person an artist, but I felt more legitimate. That has to count for something.
When I'm not writing or drawing, I can be found shouting at my PC while playing World of Warcraft, or taking pictures of slimy things growing in the garburator and blogging about it, or reading everything I can get my hands on and then talking about it with my awesome book club.

Your pencil work is amazing! Those fish are fantastic - it's interesting to see what can be accomplished with pencil. I had no idea they could be layered quite like that.
It's my pleasure. It's always nice to get a few kind words from someone you've never met, right? You have to take the inspiration wherever you can find it. Good luck in art and literature!

It's not always easy being this far apart, But don't you get the feeling, We're connected at the heart, And we're dreaming under the same moon, Under the same stars.
